parthiban Really? A glorious supercharged AMG V8 doesn't have any soul??

Lol I thought you weren't too keen on the wafting...........but if wafting is what you're after have a go in an LS600h, never been in anything so quiet (and that includes an RR Phantom)

TBH I'm not overly keen on wafting, but its excruciatingly painful driving the AMG with the family in the car (which is most of the time) knowing that I have the power to smoke all the way down the road, but can't because I have to be responsible.

Even the car gets p*ssed off with the way that I have to drive. I can feel it saying "lets gogogogoogog, gwon fookin floor it you *****". It taunts me Sad

It wouldn't be so bad if there was even a half-active Merc scene to go smoke some tyres with. But most are old fogies who don't tinker with their cars AT ALL and talk about nothing other than the price of servicing.

Interesting point, never had anything with that much power but hadn't thought about what it's like having that power and not being able to use it!

You should probably have a word with my brother about being responsible though, he still seems to find ample opportunities to floor it in the jag

Sounds like a plan.

I should probably take it out more on my own, but when it can eat £50 of petrol in a quick blast around the town I'd rather do it for a better reason than racing chavved up BMW 318's. lol
