Had the Meister r's fitted for around 10 months now and have to admit they are actually fantastic! Lots of adjustment for height, can go a lot lower than other coilovers on the market. Good levels of dampening control, can actually tell the difference between the levels. I've had other branded coilovers in the past that have 16 levels of hard lol
To sum up, excellent all round performer for entry level prices who could possibly complain!

A life of Meister R
Since the only part of my old car that I still have is the suspension, I thought I'd do a bit of an update about how I've got on with the Meister R's over the years.
This is what they looked like after 3 years of absolute abuse:
I cleaned off a few threads near to the locking collar and everything was fine. Dampers are in perfect working order, the only sign of wear is the paint coming off the springs; a fairly trivial issue.
The handling in the 300 is slightly different to the 200, but I suspect this is due to the extra weight at the front. The coilovers have dealt with this fine, I fully expect to be back to abusing them when I've had the wheel alignment sorted out.
On the softest setting, they are still more comfortable than the standard suspension. I'm about to crank them back to 2/3s firmness and take it for a spin to give them a good going over again.
I really cannot fault anything about the Meister R's, they continue to impress me and using them over the years has been an absolute pleasure. I've gradually been tweaking and fine tuning since I bought them and now I've got something utterly fantastic.
I'm looking forward to upgrading to the newer model at some point, but it will be difficult to please me more than the Europas have.
