Also the on track action was brilliant, wasn't expecting them to be driving those cars so hard but they were properly racing - brilliant to see those cars doing what they were supposed to do rather than being stuck in a museum somewhere.

Gotta say I enjoyed it a lot more than I was expecting to, not a huge classic car guy but there was some amazing machinery there (the gullwing SL in particular, one of my favourites).
Also the on track action was brilliant, wasn't expecting them to be driving those cars so hard but they were properly racing - brilliant to see those cars doing what they were supposed to do rather than being stuck in a museum somewhere.

Yep the weather held off thankfully, the forecast was heavy showers around 3 in the afternoon, but it actually only came around 6.30 when I was just getting back to the car :thumbup:
A club meet there could work quite well as it's such a chilled atmosphere :biggrin:
