Just come across these for sale.. Tein coilovers for the Honda Civic Type R. They are a year old and done 5000 miles or so. That's the info from the seller I got. He wants £300 and one of them needs an ajustment ring.
Is it worth it?
By time I make up my mind they'll be gone no doubt.

have you looked into how much the adjusment ring would cost ?

and how much does the club sponsor MeisterR sell coilovers for your car at ?

You can get replacement rings off eBay.

The replacement from Tein themselves is apparently £15.

And not to sure what the sponsor sells them at.. Sure I had problems trying to work out how I'd find out through the website. Maybe will drop him a message.. Still bet it's £700+.

Would you touch these second hand ones?

I'm not convinced those have only done 5000 miles. My Meister-R's didn't look anywhere near that worn after 2 years and 30,000 miles, let alone 5,000. That was with some very heavy countryside abuse as well.

Tein do have a good reputation though, so just check for leaks on the dampers and you'll probably be alright.
