We think the BMW clipped her rear panel with force and that turned the car round so it was going 70mph sideways, car instantly dug in and just rolled. I think the shape of the car meant that it was a 'clean' roll.
One of the things that has been mentioned about my beast build is that if i roll it then im screwed as it won't roll cleanly becasue of the shape of it. Will be buying a neck brace shortly!

yep, thats basically what we believe happened, i say it like that as we don't know as Sarah doesn't remember much.

Just general basic physics really. Fatter tyres/lower car = less chance of rolling. But 70mph sideways will flip most things.
Glad shes ok mate. Was lucky to get out of that with only a few scrathes. At least we can trust safety ratings on our cars now

Aye. Plus, less likely to roll if the car is lower to the ground, rather than higher/smaller wheels.
