Recommendation for Sat Nav
I need a sat nav, was looking at a cheap and cheerful one, but then thought ill get on with bluetooth built in for hands free.
I like this in halford at a good price, what you reckon?

Can't go wrong with the TomToms and the bluetooth works well, I especially like the function that reads out your text messages - it's useful as well as incredibly amusing

parthiban Nope I've got the older generation version, it's the TomTom Go 910 (replaced now by the 920). The newer ones have got lots of new kit I believe so should be pretty nice.
Also worth looking at the TomTom One - slightly less feature packed, but have a nice portable size.
Have heard the Garmins are good too, but don't have any experience of them.

I'd go with the TomTom then personally, should have all bases covered then.
Tom Tom even knows the roads up with me and I have used it for going to Manchester and to the two JAE trips and it has never went wrong. :thumbup1:
Think next year I'll upgrade to the new one that is out, G920 I think its called, for going to the Ring
Im now looking at the Go 920T which is for 130 BIN on ebay, comes with bluetooth built in, remote control, lane guidance, fm transmitter, aerial for traffic update
The good thing about the 9xx series is that they have US maps onboard as well, which is the main reason we have ours
