Had a mixture of snow and rain that has helped me get the car back up the street and on the drive.

Don't want to get in to politics again but there's simply no money. When the majority of councils went tory, the labour govt cut funding to councils - so they would have to raise council taxes to compensate making the tories look bad. Obviously they couldn't raise them too much as there would have been a lot of complaints.

So councils don't have the money to do anything, and govt. doesn't have any money as it all goes into the benefit system. So it doesn't matter what tax we pay and what it's for, it all goes to one place. We need a change at the top, and I hope that all this should make people realise this as we must be the laughing stock of the world at the mo.

Good stuff about the Audi, the S5 is looking like a very attractive package right now! Smile

On a separate note, I'm not sure whether to even try going to work today, the roads look really icy!

Had to help my sister move her car off the drive this morning so she could get to work, only for her to then again get stuck at the bottom of the street. Its just so icy with such low grip levels.

I dropped her off in her car at the train station, she didn't want to risk it.

Had to go pick my mum up from hospital last night, the hospital car park was quite funny. I still haven't even lost traction in the last week though Wink MR2 FTW

I would have thought the MR2 would be a reasonable (for a RWD) car in snow due to the engine being at the back and the weight pushing the rear wheels down?

Seems to have been so far  But remember the engine is inthe middle, the weight split is 42/58 IIRC.

Don't think my bald front tyres are helping though. I have had a few instances where the diff has locked going round roundabouts which is er... unhelpful!
