E55EX_RACER I like the fact some of you took your trolley jack, stands and tools and work on the motors while you're there. What would you do if it went tits up and you sheared a bolt for example? :Fish:

lol my trolley jack and socket set goes everywhere with me, part and parcel of owning an old car!
If we sheared a bolt we'd just put it back together with zip ties! As it happens Ed did round off 2 screws on the throttlebody but that was no big deal, he just left that part on in order to drill the screws out when he got home. Oh yeah and I semi rounded a nut on the water pump pulley but that was fixed by stopping using my 35yr old 12 sided socket set and switching to a Halfords Pro 6 sided set instead
