Patio cleaning tips
Want to get my patio clean but there's some kind of weird black c**p on it that just will not come up - are there any chemicals you can use to loosen it off?
Trying to hold off hiring someone out of the yellow pages with an industrial washer as those things are so powerful they'll blow all the pointing apart........
Caustic soda is good and will prevent weed growth
Have you tried GUNK driveway/patio cleaner mate? good stuff and used it quite a few times to remove oil off my dads drive :thumbup1:
If you have a jet wash? try and get hold of one of these CLICK ME! Great bit of kit and does a cracking job
Thanks, yep I've got the most powerful domestic washer Karcher makes and I've got a T-racer and a dirtblaster and nothing is working! hock:
I'm not too keen on using caustic soda, that stuff is way too dangerous for someone like me to be handling!
Also is that gunk stuff just for oil or just general dirt? This is in the back garden so it's not oil or anything, I have no idea what it is that it won't come up!
Bandit Gunk's used for pretty much anything mate, we do the whole block paved drive with it and it does seem to work very well..

Try it neat first if its a stubborn stain mate and maybe give it a scrub after a few minutes, i usually dilute it a little for general cleaning so it lasts a bit longer
