PCI TV card - lets you watch & record TV on your computer. Works with Windows XP upwards, has its own software or works with Windows Media Centre.

Receives analogue TV (i.e. BBC One -> Channel 5)
Receives Freeview (if your aerial's up to the job)
Receives Freesat (if you've got a Sky dish on your house)
Receives Freesat HD (again, needs the dish)
Receives FM radio

Records all of the above, either with media centre or with the WinTV scheduler.

It also has an analogue s-video input with a 3.5mm jack for the audio, to allow you to display (and record) an external video source like a set top box or a games console.

This was an OEM card for a media centre PC so it has no packaging and doesn't have the remote control either. You don't need the remote to operate it.

Its only limitation is that it's a single tuner, so you can't watch one thing while recording another.

2 months old. £70 delivered.

Actually I should point out, the spec on the Hauppauge site doesn't list HD anywhere. I am able to receive HD signals (I get BBC HD, BBC One HD, ITV HD etc) but I have both the satellite and tv aerial connected, so I'm not totally sure which one it's using for HD. I am pretty sure it's the satellite, though.
