Hi All,

This is from another local forum to me that i am a member of. I hope they don't mind me posting this up, its for a really good cause with all money going to help Japan.

Dear all,

I'm sure you are more than aware now of the recent diasters which have struck Japan; Earthquakes, Tsunami and nuclear plants in meltdown. The scale of these disasters has really hit home for a lot of us I know, and the rescue and recovery operations involved are staggering.

We've also seen the pictures of our Japanese counter-parts, car enthusiasts and track drivers who have lost everything.

What can we do to help? This is where you come in!

HJC Japan Appeal
Sunday 10th April
West Meon Hut
£5 Entry

In partnership with our traders we will be holding a photoshoot and raffle meet on the fields at West Meon Hut near Petersfield! HJCs awesome Traders have kindly donated a brilliant range of prizes to the appeal! (Full details of prizes to follow)

Raffle tickets will be available to purchase on the day at £5 each.

100% of proceeds from the day will be donated to the Red Cross Japan Tsunami Appeal, and will be used to help teams on the ground working to provide first aid, healthcare and support to the affected communities.

Gates will open at 10am, with the raffle prize draw around lunchtime. Local press and Jap magazines have been invited also

Many thanks for your support, it should be an enjoyable day for us and will make a difference to the lives of the people who have been caught up in these recent events. We hope to see as many of you as possible on the day!

The event will be open to other local Japanese car clubs. If you have been pointed here from another site please do register and add your name to the list so we can get an idea of expected numbers.

We've got capacity for 200+ cars

In addition a friend of Dave's (Linford) works with Oxfam, Cancer Research, Marie Curie and Red Cross and they are sending clothes parcels to Japan, if you have anything (t-shirts, jumpers, tracky bottoms, jeans,trousers etc what ever you have got to give) you could donate please bring them along to the meet and give them to Linford.

Here is a little taster of what is on offer in the way if prizes, there is still more to be confirmed (TBC) but so far we have the following prizes from the following traders:

HJC Clothing - Free T-shirt for those who attend!
HJC Clothing - HJC Hoodie, HJC Polo, HJC T-shirt, HJC Beanie & HJC Bag - a HJC clothing pack.
Mitsi Art - prize TBC but also to include Ralli Art laptop bags proceeds which will be on sale on the day.
Mook - Japanese T-shirt from any of his designs he has for sale.
MeisterR - a £100 voucher for MeisterR Coilovers. This voucher can be use with the existing offer so HJC owners can get £200 off a set of MeisterR coilovers.
Opie Oils - £30 Opie Oils gift voucher
Ultimate detailing - One day Express detail worth £135
Hendy Performance - TBC but likely to be two tickets to Vtec challenge and something else.

Although they are not official HJC traders we also have offers of prizes from Goodrowes, H. Fisher and Colt Car Company (prizes TBC).
