this one is obviously much better than desire hd, desire s and as compared to galaxy s 2 its gonna be much expensive Confusedad:. I wonder these new htc phones, neither htc incredible s, desire s nor wildfire s possess 3.0 sense but the reason is that these three phones lacks dual core cpu as sense technology is compatible only with dual core cpu. Sad Even os is not gingerbread but hope an update will be able to make it if available.

I have the Samsung Galaxy S2, and nothing else out there comes near it on spec. It ships with 2.33 Gingerbread and a 1.2 Dual Core chip. Once rooted, this can be easily and reliably overclocked to 1.5GHz. The graphics and Super AMOLED Plus screen are simply breathtaking and the full GB of RAM is more than anything HTC could even dream of. WELL HAPPY WITH IT!

I was wondering about holding out for a dual core phone, but was unsure on the capabilities of the current batteries, i know the new processors are designed to help, but didnt know if it would be counter intuiative with all the new tech they are trying to ram into the handsets?

curently mine gets charged once a day, last pretty well unless using the navigation app,

happy with it for now i guess, so long as it doesnt break or go laggy it does what I want it to,

would of kept my iphone 3g if it didnt start running slow, locking down, as it did what i wanted it to do within reason

My atrix is a dual core phone, and battery wise it's pretty good. I only need to charge it once a day after fairly heavy use, and in order to try and test it a bit, from a full charge I watched 4 hours of HD video on it. At that point it was still showing 60% in the battery, which I thought was pretty good...

IS200 Sport - Sold
Mazda 6 MPS - Zoom Zoom!

Modifications
Completed:

Currently 280bhp/295lbft; 3" Meercat custom exhaust; KW Suspension; FMIC; SSP; HPFP; Custom Stainless Steel Dials - for the moment, the only set in the world!! (Till the group buy for MPSOC anyway  )

In Progress:

E-Tuning remap ongoing via Cobb Accessport; Braided brake lines; Stubby aerial; Tinted repeaters and sidelights; 3 Port Boost Control Solenoid; 3" HTP Intake

From what I've read the Atrix has the best battery life of the dual cores, the S2 is pretty decent and the Sensation is struggling a bit only really lasting about a day.

Battery life on my S2 is not really an issue. I use it quite a lot, and often get over 24 hours out of a charge. When I was abroad I barely used it at all, but kept it switched on, and it went for over 4 days! They have made various improvements to the screen and processor which cause them to draw less power. I would say the battery on mine is better than my girlfriend's Galaxy S, so I wouldn't assume more processor equates to more battery use.

I bought 3 extra batteries for £12 on ebay, and that included a desktop charger (charge batteries out of the phone.) And so even if the battery life was an issue, I would still not have an issue!

In case any iPhone users do not understand this... in most smartphones you can swap a flat battery for a full one.
