Thanks Jay. I have ordered the cable from Japan so crossed fingers! The unit is too good to have chucked in the bin. How's your car getting along?

Guys I got the cable today from Japan. No as I need to connect the green cable tithe positive handbrake feed, can I just connect it to the positive of head unit power instead?

are you sure its positive the feed you require not ground

if its so that dvd's can be watched whist the vehicle is moving its normally a ground as thats what switches on car.....

i could be wrong but worth double checking
