NEVER HAVE I SEEN A PLACE LIKE THIS APART FROM ASTON MARTIN AT GAYDON - SPOTLESS ULTRA MODERN FACILITY!!
I had a good look around the workshop - NO photos of course thats only to be expected of a place like this. BUT today they left a couple of "in progress" cars outside whilst they went to lunch so:
MATT BLACK - NON FACTORY PAINT - SEAT COVERS FROM FACTORY STILL IN PLACE.

The garage had no less then 30 high end super cars in various levels of conversion, many new, so people want twin turbos BEFORE taking delivery from Italy, I am wondering what recession?????
Just up the road the Classic car repair garage has a LAMBORGHINI COUNTACH in white - engine leaking from everywhere, Engine out and reseal - not a cheap job at all but what is on a Lamborghini? hey you buy the car you buy the cost of repair. The result of putting the WRONG oil into the engine, and just topping up every couple of months, the leaks just get worse and worse...... They had this V8 Lotus Esprit just in from the auctions, beautiful low miles example, STS turbo conversion (single), unknown power but it is at least 550BHP apparently?

30-07-2018, 04:47 PM #1OK again not Jap cars - the place we are training is on the same industrial estate as this company, they are world famous for their twin turbo conversions of Lambo, Ferrari, R8, Cobra - well you get the idea!!

no photos again customer confidentiality and all that. Had a good chat about turbos and adding power to other cars - will start anew thread as what was said was interesting- and applicable to almost any car.
