Standard front fog lights
Standard front fog lights
As above. at the end of the month I am looking to get a spare set of fog lights so I can put them in the oven
Anyone know of a set up for grabs? cheaper the better
Matt
What do you plan to do with them, the only reason i as is i'v just sprayed a set black and also wet sanded the fronts to take out alot of the stone chips.
I,v still got a standard set as i bought a second set, but after fitting the blacked set im not fully in love! So may part with them!
Hey matey, yep I was planning on smoking the fog lights out. Maybe not black though I was thinking of dark chrome like the facelift headlights. Do you have any pics dude?how much would you be wanting?
I might be able to get a hold of a set if you tell me what you would be interested in paying for them , just so I can make the guy an offer ?
I was going to do smoke myself, but i got glue on the inside chrome bit when i split them so i used so Tardis to remove it and it took the chrome paint off! So that made them totally clear meaning i had to do them a solid black!
Well if i didnt like them (still not sure) was gonna put them on the bay for bids over £50 + p&p.
ill take a few pics and get them up.
I also stripped them down to their last nut n bolt cleaned them and removed any corrosion that stops you getting bulbs out with out snapping them in two!
Shame about that spot of glue Jomo, if you could drop me a pic that would be cool.
Thanks Moley, I just had a goosey on eBay, I hadnt realised how expensive they are! even second hand! I wasnt really expecting to pay higher than £40, but looking at the prices that might get me one! If this is the case then I might risk mine in the oven
They are pricey! If it was me, I'd oven my own ones, and still may do, though going to see how I like them with Flyeyes first. You can drive round for a week without fogs fitted while you work on them, unlike headlights. If you totally screw them up, buy new ones then!
Just looking on the flyeyes website now Stoney, never seen it before. for a few £££ it might be worth a punt.
Scrap that. Just been looking on a thread from last year on here, where a few members tried it and posted some close up photos. I don't like the appearance of it.
Back to the oven we go
