So recently I've been changing the colour of the bulbs in my MR2 centre console/heater controls and dash. Some of those i have replaced with LEDs but some which were a little more difficult or i didn't have an LED for i found a neat little trick which works surprisingly well!

What you need:
Tools to get to the bulbs in your heater/dash.
Permanent marker/sharpie/CD Pen in colour of your choice. (must be felt tip type capable of writing on glass)

Step 1
Dismantle your dash so you can to the bulbs

Step 2
Remove the bluey/green rubber cover from the bulb then colour the bulbs using the marker/sharpie etc.

Step 3
Test the colour of the bulb.

Step 4
Replace bulbs and dash parts.

Step 5
Enjoy!

Ill upload a couple of pictures of my efforts soon.

Lol that's the cheats way - but if it works then all the power to you bud:thumbup1:

Indecently that's what the white dial installation guide from Lockwood said to do to change the colour of the needles on an MR2 dash.

"Life's goal is not to arrive safely at the grave in a well preserved body. But, rather to skid in sideways........
totally worn out and broken, shouting 'Holy ****, WHAT A RIDE!'"

Hehe yeah its a bit of a cheat and doesn't look as good as LEDs but looks much better than having half green half red controls.

Quite a good idea to be fair mine are all white bulbs but have thought about blue so may have to invest in a blue marker pen thanks for the money saving advice mate

So your tuckin 15's, that's cute but come back to me when you get some proper size wheels

Here's a couple of pictures, not great quality but you get the idea.

First, my dial which are LED and my lighter ring which is just coloured red, not a bad match really.

Secondly (again I apologise for poor quality) but the light adjustment is also a colouring in job.
