Got mine in the post today. Looks flipping fantastic.

I want to get some coloured screws before putting on though. There was a thread about a supplier of all sorts of screws in various colours. Can anyone point me in the right direction.

Excellent, I think thats 2 arrived today so far Smile

The supplier I mentioned a while ago who sells coloured bolts is Pro-Bolt

I went for the Aluminium Dome Head M6x20

Just be aware that the aluminium bolts have a lower breaking force than the OEM ones, so only use them in 'non-stress' locations i.e. covers & clips etc.

I seem to have a hole missing on my radiator panel.

I have another bolt just in front of the air intake.

It's not a problem I can drill another hole but was just wondering is this unique to me or have all IS200s got this bolt?

It seems to be holding something underneath the panel, a plastic thing.

DaveEdin has fitted his and didn't mention any problem with the bolt, although from his pictures it appears that either his didn't have it to begin with, or hes taken it out. I've PM'd him and asked. So I'll come back with an answer as soon as he replies so I can let everyone else know too.

OK, thanks.

I have had a look at a couple of pictures on here and it looks like it's standard item.

Not the best picture but you can just see it here....

As I say it's not really a problem I'll just drill the hole but if the guy is making more of these then obviously it would be good for him to know.

I just removed the offending bolt to be honest...

Maybe there's no bolt on the altezza? Robin that makes them originally designed them for the altezza after all, that would explain the "missing" hole...

IS200 Sport - Sold
Mazda 6 MPS - Zoom Zoom!

Modifications
Completed:

Currently 280bhp/295lbft; 3" Meercat custom exhaust; KW Suspension; FMIC; SSP; HPFP; Custom Stainless Steel Dials - for the moment, the only set in the world!! (Till the group buy for MPSOC anyway  )

In Progress:

E-Tuning remap ongoing via Cobb Accessport; Braided brake lines; Stubby aerial; Tinted repeaters and sidelights; 3 Port Boost Control Solenoid; 3" HTP Intake

Spent a good 20mins looking on google for pictures of that area, and out of all the pictures I've found, only 1 shows that bolt still in. Not many companys make panels with provision for that hole anyway.

So it can't be important because pretty much everyone has either removed it or didn't have it in the first place. So that rules it out being a structural part or it would be present on every model.

I personally am just going to take mine out Smile

Just quickly...I discovered what that bolt is for infront of the intake.

It holds this...

Which although it looks important, serves no purpose whatsoever other than to cover up the underside of the bonnet release cable.

So I think my car will manage fine without it. Smile
