Hurricane Theres something very wrong there. There is no way you would have 100bhp transmission losses.
It's probably 4WD though ?

05-04-2017, 04:25 AM #133A bit of Googling found an article that suggested average RWD cars lose about 17% of bhp via the transmission, and 22% for 4WD. So that's still way off the figures on that graph, which does kinda imply a problem ?

Most of the time its the compensation calculations that are messed up. They do this to make the figures look better than they actually are, commonly by putting the ambient temps at a much higher figure than you would ever see. This filters back through the calculations to give incorrect figures. Its a shame those figures are cut off in the photo

05-04-2017, 04:54 AM #136Yeah probably a dodgy dyno operator. The wheels figure would be the correct, measured one, so the flywheel figure is probably way OTT.

That is still stavs i think as it was on the redline stand

BHP- how fast you hit the wall, TORQUE- how far you push the wall
OVER STEER- Dont see the wall, UNDER STEER- You do see it
