i'm running 280 with overboost off about 320 and have been running it for over a year with no bangs but if you can and have the money get the block from rab as you will want more power after a while. better to start right and then there is no stopping you

posty Not everyone wants an engine swap!

no, but for the amount of money it would cost you to get 300bhp you could have a stock 1j running in there at more than that. It is a viable option.

the demo car was happily running at 330 with a full 3" exhaust larger injectors small intercooler and fuel return lines

the ex demo car seem to have issues now to which most of us are stumped by.....

the kit that was installed on the demo car is now on my old is200 and was producing at birth 282bhp since then it has a few more tweaks including a larger exhaust which would have freed up some more ponies

Mattross is the new owner of it

Yeh the demo car is still running and i still own it :thumbup1: The car is using a lot of fuel (14 miles average to £10 of fuel?) still runs and goes well but can't figure out why its eating fuel? With the supercharger that myself and Rabster fitted (after the turbo) it was doing about 30mpg, and since i removed the charger its gone down hill :confused1::confused1: from the look of the white exhaust manifold its over fueling badly and spits flames out the back end Confusedcared: not sure why and have tried quite a few thing to get it to run better with no difference at all? will only run on super unleaded and at £1.50 a ltr i don't use the car much now, so i'm slowly taking all the aftermarket parts off it so i can get rid? Confusedad:Confusedad:

When was the last time the injectors were serviced? They might be bleeding.

Do it still run vvti?

My girlfriends dad's avensis had overfueling problems when an actuator in the inlet manifold failed which was leaving the secondary inlet valves open slightly

I'm guessing you have had a code reader plugged into the car? Any codes?

sprinter2012 ... as the IS200 engine is made of cheese. lol

Sprinter what cheese are you eating if it handle those types of numbers?!?

Personally those are impressive numbers considering they haven't had to open the engine!

Bandit: i assume the return fuel line has a fuel pressure regulator on it? it so what base pressure is it set at? it could be too high now considering it's NA?

if its a rising rate one (ie has a boost line feed) then disconnect that and set it to 50psi (3.44 bar)

thats the standard fuel pressure and its static on a standard car

fair enough, what about the standard tank FPR and the fuel pulsation damper on the standard line?
