Yeah but that could make one set too rich, or too lean trying to compensate for the bad gas from the other set.

No if you wire them together it'll only read from one bank, eg if you wire b1s1 into b2s1 the ecu will only receive readings for cylinders 4,5,6

No Matt he means fitting one O2 sensor after the cat, then sending that signal to both banks on the ecu. 1 sensor, 2 connections. Not 2 sensors 1 connection.

thanks guys, that'll give me something to think about for a while.

I might have to do some experimenting when I get an AFR gauge.

Stav, how much are them O2 simulators you sell, or are they easy to make?

Their not difficult to make mate if you have the correct wiring diagram. I sell them for £40.

hi,
just like to say im running a 138mm pulley and have no probs with a fcd, maybee a tad lean when redlining, but i dont get there that often as im getting aged:lol:
anyway,im running a switched charger,or should i say was,im gonna have to fit a bypass as there is too much restriction through the charger itself when switched off.
i was thinking of getting a electronic throttle body and wiring that up so when the charger is switced on the n/a air flow is shut of but dont know if that would screw up the fueling.
cheers.

Im sort of in the same situation, apart from it running lean when redlining - with the decat, when redlining/gear change at high RPMs, people following have said I get flames out of my exhaust, which I would presume is over fueling?

Anyway, how do you find the switched charger? How are you switching yours? Mine is on a microswitch on the throttle body which is in series with a 'master' switch on the dash - which is good when you have your foot down, but the ECU doesnt like it if you try to drive 'normally', which gets me onto the restriction - Im the same as you, there is a slight restriction over standard when the charger is 'off' but, since i'm wanting to drive sensibly anyway, the restriction doesnt bother me.

Ive just got a bypass valve from a Mini Cooper S, which I should be fitting soon, so i'll see how well that works.

Last question, whats your pulley off? Any pictures etc?

ive got mine on a switch on my gear knob, just push on/off,like you its fine when boosting but a bit of a struggle when off,i was looking at a mini bypass myself, but wanted a electronic bypass so when i turned the charger on the air switches, and hopefully when off ill have no airflow restriction.if that doesnt work ill go down the vaccuum bypass route and try that.
i got a pulley from a merc, had to redrill the holes though, but not a problem,
i have pics somewhere i think ill post some later.

In post #7 Dimis mentioned using 215cc injectors from a Toyota Tacoma. Does anyone have any idea what part number that would be or even what they look like? Ebay searches return quite a few results but the injectors all look different. I'd hate to spend out quite a lot to find I've got the wrong injectors.
