reganlives Ormi, I thought toyota stopped selling stuff for Lexus and vice versa? I'm sure thats how it is in the north west anyway or can you still get some stuff?
Sort of... in theory if you own a car that is sold over here as a Lexus but in Japan as a Toyota, Toyota can't sell you the parts. They soon realised how big a problem that was though and have relaxed it a little bit.
So I can't order LS400 parts on my Toyota trade account but I can order parts for a Celsior (which is the same car aside from regional variations - sometimes UK spec cars have larger brakes and leather interiors). Altezza parts are more difficult as there's actually quite a lot different between Altezzas and IS200s (even the AS200 model). But I can't order parts for an LS460, they have to be ordered on my local Toyota dealership's trade account with the local Lexus dealer. It's all a bit daft.
