16 pounds is very good money and if your only going to have to stick with it for a wee while then its probably worth it. But if your job makes you totally miserable then your best to leave IMO, money isn't everything!

Could you not take the securicor job and try to do something else part time? Your already doing overtime anyway. Smile

yh the 16per hour is overtime only, i normally get about 8 per hour which even for me is quite alot, i got take the G4S one but then no time to do the overtime and get rid of my debt.

I actually had another callcentre ring me today and offer me a job !! 3 jobs at once, but decided to turn them all down, i would hate myself if i took it and it would take another 2-4 years to get rid of my debt, where i could get rid of it by the end of this year

Saraj start sending off your cv for better paid jobs.
While your employed this is the best time to go for some thing a little higher because you have a job so push your luck a little mate.

I agree, getting rid of your debt should be a priority, think of the freedom you will get from it!! Then when you have you can take a job you enjoy.
/want to do and your be happier even if it's less money.

Think also that you got this job, your CRB check was all clear too so you could always take it up at another point in time, they'll be more opportunities for securicor should that be the route you want to take!!
