I have 18 X 8.5 on mine with 25/40 tyres and they look right with 44 offset, no arcg modding required. Also you can over tyre it, a standard car doesn't need much more than the standard set up. I originally had 7/17 with 215/45 tyres and 15mm spacers front and 20mm rear and it looked good. Sadly I cant show a pic of my current set up
To be fair it's the rears I'm concerned about with them been 9.5 and 35 off set but we will see at the weekend

18-08-2022, 09:49 PM #12These are a 35 off set, I think they will scrap the inner arch so might need to put a 10mm spacer on to get them to 45 offset.
To be fair it's the rears I'm concerned about with them been 9.5 and 35 off set but we will see at the weekend

In terms of tyres - if you've done the roll bars, the IS grips extremely well on decent sized tyres (on 8.5j wheels) so throwing it around country lanes will be fun.

19-08-2022, 09:23 AM #13To be honest, I'd see if you can find a similar set with the right offset. I found spacers to be a massive pain in the **** on the IS and the handling was never quite as sweet as it was without them.

19-08-2022, 11:16 AM #14I'm goin to try them till the summer as they were cheap then I'm goin to get a nice set I can run till the weather changes, I'm tryin to find some anti roll bars then I'm goin to get the meister r coil overs after ive done the bodywork.
