parthiban Yep I mentioned it in the first post but as Wozza said it's worth highlighting - for some bizarre reason the wire they provide is nowhere near long enough to reach from the boot to the front of the car so will need extending.Maybe the kit was originally designed for a different car with the same satnav, where the satnav computer was in a different position ? Just a guess.

Yep that was my thinking too, but as far as I'm aware all Lexus cars up until the very latest generation had their satnav brain in the boot?
Also according to the clublexus thread, they originally had a much longer wire and then it got shortened - so maybe Toyota were doing some cost cutting.
