yes indeedy i have stevie. its just like a plastic spacer that traps a spring eliminating spongey feel and does give slightly better response hence my thinking join it with a proper control unit and we'll be shooting off faster than a bullit (if only!) but seeing as there isnt a huge amount of mods to do engine wise, this looks like it could do a little bit of magic, but it looks like i'll have to save my pennies and be a test ginuea pig for this.

Marsdendean you move something under the pedal don't you??

not quite just attach a little platic clip i took mine from my radio controlled car suspension spring the spacer that set the stiffness of the spring does exactly the same job on the accelorator peddle. hope that clears that up.

CAN WE GET BACK TO MY ORIGINAL TOPIC ON ARE THEY ANY GOOD AND HAS ANYONE USED THEM???? PLEASE Tongue

oh well i just pee'd on my own fire! checked the blitz website and the blitz controller only operates on...

IS - F, USE20, 2UR-GSE, 12/07>

IS250, GSE20, GSE25, 4GR-FSE, 09/05>

IS350, GSE21, 2GR-FSE, 09/05>

LS460, USF40, 1UR-FSE, 09/06>

does anyone know if the controller could be modified in someway to control other cars as well or is that too hopeful? or does anyone else make a similar bit of kit??

I dunno. Seems like it doesn't do that much, just alters the signal your throttle pedal is sending to the ECU. I can't imagine it'd be that hard for someone to knock one up with a bit of electronic knowledge *looks at Rabster* ...

IS200 Turbo project now just about complete ! See my thread here and leave your comments.
Now running standalone Syvecs ECU and no stock ECU !

I dont think it can mate.

Im 99% sure the throttle on the IS300 is a proper wire to athrottle motor like the IS200 and so the kit wont work

I think I might be misunderstanding something here.

I thought that both the IS200 and IS300 throttles work like this - The throttle pedal input goes not direct to the throttle body motor, but to the ECU. The ECU then decides how much to open the throttle based on the pedal input and any other factors, e.g. Snow mode, and then sends the appropriate signals to the throttle body motor to open the throttle the appropriate amount. Only if there is a failure in this system does it revert to manual control, where the throttle pedal directly correlates to the throttle opening.

So why can't some electronics intervene and send its own signals to the throttle body motor ?

that is pretty much how i thought it worked as well stevie, so hopefully someone can either get a diagram or just have the knowledge to let us know how they correctly work, its gotta be one or the other?!

the is200 is cable operated and this operates a resolver - a servo motor inside the body then operates the flap.

could the servo be replaced for a quicker one to open it up faster then??

its cable operated drum and via gears operates a motor, the TPS ( or resolver as i said earlier) then checks the position and through some electrickery and the moto$r, fine tunes the position of the butterfly
