DJ Wozza Head unit will go in the for sale section soon, then if no luck, it will go on Ebay. Did you look at the video and see the "other new toy" Shaz ?

Well its been a while now since i put the unit in and about 2 weeks ago my rear headrest screens arrived!! They came 2 days before i had to go up to huddersfield with the 2 littluns and really wanted to get them fitted for the journey and due to the lack of time I didnt get a chance to take any pictures while doing the install!
So that night i started after 11pm to get the screens fitted into the headrests......took about 2 -2.5 hours. Had just finished (doing this in the loft as my tools are up there and ive set up a little work bench) and i heard buzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz and theres a maahhhoooooosive wasp thats got in :ohmy:cared:........i hate wasps/bees with a passion so there i am at about 2 in the morning with a mop swinging at the :cursing:er...crashing and banging........so then it gets caught in a big cob web and i thought thats ok it will die there........nope.......goes bezerk trying to get free after a few minutes it drops......went to find it and it flies straight to my head swung at it and got it!!....here it is
Anyway the following evening i had to put put them in the car....again started late must have been about 11pm and didnt take any pics........I had already fed the power cables from the head unit through to the centre console when i fitted the headunit.
All cables are hidden and under the carpet, i didnt end up removing the seats as it was dark and didnt want to end up loosing any bolts......feeding the cables from the centre console to under the driver seat would have been much easier if the seat was removed, however i just managed it. Neighbours must have thought wtf is he doing out there at midnight in the rain!!
Last thing to do was to earth the screens, so used the cig lighter.....for information the earth is the pink not the white, as i popped a fuse!! I will take some more pics of the screens and the hidden cables when i get a chance, but heres a pic i took the other day.
Needless to say the kids love it!!:thumbup1:
Cheers mate.....kept the mrs quiet for a while too over the weekend watching toy story while going to Milton Keynes:thumbup::thumbup1:moke:......makes me laugh when my two year old says to the mrs "Daddys cars the best"

steviewevie The pink is the live wire on the IS200 according to the wiring diagrams, and the white/black wire earth.
Please remember though folks, this is a general forum and it's worth saying which car you're referring to
