I have had a similar problem with them, this will be my third year with them, each time I've set up a new policy as it's cheaper to look through comparison websites or (as I have a multicar policy with the gf) to do one in her name. They are so quick to take the money from the last policy (each time I've cancelled the renewal), and from what I can tell they don't pass messages onto other departments.

My credit card company is doing all the work to refund my money.

Direct debits on insurance should not be allowered specially when you cancel any policy been cancelled they should not be able to reclaim moneys

Do you still have your old policy number? If so that would be it if they have just renewed your old policy.

I'm a bit worried it's credit card fraud - hope you get it sorted soon Smile

Yeah, one of the good things about paying for things on credit card is that they can sort it all out for you if something goes wrong, though it can take several weeks.

IS200 Turbo project now just about complete ! See my thread here and leave your comments.
Now running standalone Syvecs ECU and no stock ECU !
