IIRC it used to be £1000 from Lexus painted and fitted for the full "TRD" bodykit.

Was Supercharged Racing Green IS200 Sport. Now APR Stage 1 Seat Leon Cupra (220 Bhp).

You could never buy those bits pre-painted off Lexus - well, not unless you of course paid them to paint it for you.

Up till very recently you could get them all (TRD front lip, rear lip and side skirts) from Lexus/Toyota still. I think it's been reported recently that some of those bits are now not available, but I would still asking, it's only a phone call to the parts department. The front lip and rear lip were both just a bit over £100, the side skirts quite a lot more than that as a pair.

IS200 Turbo project now just about complete ! See my thread here and leave your comments.
Now running standalone Syvecs ECU and no stock ECU !

Yeah sorry was a bit vague but look at the time I posted lol. The £1000 was lexus supplying the full kit in primer - painting it in your cars colour and then fitting it for you. If you break the price down to roughly £400 body kit + £400 spraying + £200 fitting its about right.

Sorry I actually posted my response before I saw the second page of responses, including yours Ed. So I wasn't trying to contradict you, Lexus could of course paint up a set but they will charge you a fortune as you say !

I got a much much cheaper price from a local bodyshop to paint and fit my front and rear lips, and they did an excellent job too (especially since matching Platinum Ice isn't easy).

That's interesting information as my Toyota parts contact (parts manager for a franchised chain) cannot get ANY TRD parts at all, they have to be ordered from a TRD supplier. The only TRD supplier in the UK is Fensport as far as I am aware Smile

Did those bits have normal Toyota part numbers ? My local Lexus/Toyota parts department has got me "TRD" bits in the past, but the thing is, they come in a Lexus/Toyota box and with a Lexus/Toyota part number. Wonder if your bits are more JDM-specific ?

Its not really a TRD bodykit anyway - just a Lexus optional extra called Styling Kit 1. Styling Kit 2 being the TTE kit.

No, they had TRD part numbers where the 2nd part of the part number is the chassis model, e.g. 48531-SW293, 48830-SW210 etc. However I think what Ed's said probably explains it, i.e. it was an optional Lexus styling kit.
