spikes is there a special lacquer for polished metals or is it standard paint lacquer?
will the lacquer bond ok as its so polished? sorry to sound dumb :lol::lol:

As long as the polish is cleaned off mate it sticks, the only thing with engine parts like the rocker cover, is when they get hot they do start to discolour the lacquer, so usually better to leave them un-lacquered :thumbup1:

You can get High Temp lacquer though for the engine parts, which does keep its clear colour for a lot longer than standard lacquer :thumbup1:

40mm Lowering Springs, Re-sprayed Front, 6000K HID's, Re-furbed alloys, Bandit Induction Kit (cheers Chris), Raised boot spoiler with LED, Blue calipers with silver decals, De-badged rear, Chrome Oil Filler Cap (thanks to Chris again), White LED dash bulbs, Blue a/c control bulbs, Blue door markers and interior lights, Sony head unit, Chrome Lexus tax disc holder, TRD side skirts, Original Saloon Front Bumper re-fitted instead of Sportcross

Done another stage of the cover yesterday, still got to get the Dremil out and do in between all the tight areas? but i've sanded it back quite a bit and used my 3M scotch bright pads on it to brighten it up a little, :thumbup1:
