It's not that old, I didnt catch the Reg but guessing within the naughties. It looks like the designer only had a ruler. Lots of very straight crease lines on it. There was badging on the back, but I couldn't make out what it said, it started with a V and it ended with V6. No logo badge like Toyota or Ford though. On the front grill is a very rich red circular badge that I couldnt make out.
It's PIG UGLY btw. And, even though it says V6 on the back, you wouldnt be surprised if it wasnt electric or hybrid as it seems to doing that "too futuristic" look.

I cant think of many manufacturers that have a red circular badge.
Fiat, Vauxhall, Possibly Daihatsu. Arial, but its definately not one of those

or a vectra v6 i guess. No scratch that, they dont have a vertical line on the boot

Could be a Saturn Astra which has a red badge but it's square.......

I don't know either, the astra is the only car I can think of that has a vertical crease down the centre of the boot, but in the opening sentence says it's something like an astra/focus so I assume he knows what an astra looks like?
