Lexusboy Hi Johnny hope your enjoying the forum.

We would like to hear your views on the forum, good or bad comments are welcome.

Enjoy:thumbup1:

Hi!

I like it - clean, quick and easy to navigate! You can't go wrong with a well run vBulletin site! Should be even better when you migrate to vB4, though - the CMS will really allow you to show the cars better - they really are a huge credit to the club!

Steve, VB4 that idea, we are currently looking at.
We have started to see if we will have any problems with bugs or setting up of this version before deciding if this will be our next move.

vB4 did have some incompatability issues - however, it's been Gold for long enough now for most of the bugs to be over come.

I'd advise you to get a subdomain setup to install against and run the upgrade a few times to make sure it's all ok.

It'll take you about 90 minutes from start to finish to take down, backup, restore and upgrade.

PLEASE DO NOT DO IT ON YOUR LIVE DATABASE!

This will be tried on a sub Domain before we even think of trying it on here.

Thanks for the tip though:thumbup1:

Our MR2 was in MR2 Only a while ago.

totally worn out and broken, shouting 'Holy ****, WHAT A RIDE!'"
