If you decide to do this then I advise limo tint windows all way round (even windscreen)
then at least nobody can see you :thumbup:

I'll keep that in mind if it looks hurrendous,

in all seriousness I think I have made my mind up, I think I was getting carried away with myself in a moment of boredom. will stay with my original plan for the car (black/dark as poosible) with plenty of shiney bits on the engine...

don't paint it vinyl it....also if you do the buldge why not do the roof too??

Thanks very much for that DaveEdin, I would have had to have resorted to paint and that definately wouldn't be good! Definately not going for the full bonnet though

doing the bulge onto the bonnet is appealing to me quite alot right now. Might see what i can achieve with some masking tape to give me the impression of what it will look like.

Ormi, do you know anybody who can do vinyl? I would have a go myself but it would be full of bubbles and creases!!!!

Mate have a go yourself, just take your time and be careful, you can use heat to get the curves etc

The only issue is getting the right shape, you may have to cut it on the car which could leave a cut line on the bonnet if you take it off.

Saw on YouTube some company in the US called Decal something or other and they were showing how one of their guys did the job with explainations. Interesting and even some others vids showing examples of complete vinyled cars.
