The FCD is not safer just easier to obtain
The black box is the one to have.

marko45 The BB made by P.Lindblom is the same as what TTE call the "ECU extension" AM27936?Yes, that is correct. My Black box works the same way as the TTE Black box. The TTE Silver box is a bit more advanced. It still does the same thing, but it also lowers the rev limit to 6250rpm.
Because this one from TTE seems to have more wires that the BB on the pictures above.
