That said, next year the WRC move to using the super 2000 spec cars, which is exactly what that Fiesta is. So I imagine the car he's using in this video is the exact same car he'll be rallying in next year. Might make a difference as he moved from Subaru in Rally America to Ford for the current WRC season.

Yeah I always get the impression from the Block videos that they are bit too well edited and I think the kissing the wall incident was left in on purpose to try and detract from this. There are admittedly less tyre marks in this one left from previous attempts / practices. Plain fact is, if he were the master of car control that the videos make him look like, he would be winning WRC stages.
