Its only got a single humbucker pickup, so it could be a 1000 series. Its definately an SB series bass though. Im a bit confused, as i thought they only came in a natural finish, not gloss black at that time
They came in gloss black around 1984, but the 'bat eared' headstock suggests an earlier model
I think i may be wrong with my valuation, i think it may well be worth a bit more. I have asked on a bass guitar forum, i will let you know when i get a reply
