Well it seems to be a done deal.....
Well it seems to be a done deal.....
Dont worry about what people say, the astra is still a nice car. The engine is really good, especially once remapped. The only thing i thought was wrong with the MK5 was the seats were a bit hard, nowhere near as nice as the IS200 seats.
Engine wise, as long as you give it an oil change max every 10,000 miles then you should be ok. The EGR valves do clog up on them, but they are very easy to remove, clean and refit. Some people block it off by making a gasket out of a coke can, but i dont know how that will affect things with the remap
^^ not sure bud, some remaps offer EGR blank and DPF removal at same time, but not sure how it all works really.......
already have a list of mods pre-approved by insurance for no extra fee and warranty from lexus will cover them also
Hmmmmm
so they say "how about this blue one?"
I say "yes its got all that i was after fo rmy budget, styling pack and big alloys W00t"
They say "oh we sold that one yesterday, but we've got a better one in silver?"
I say "show me then...............WTF that has even got the styling pack on it? its shoite!!"
They say "well from all teh searching thats the best your gunna get"
I say "b0ll0x, you jsut showed me a better one but you were morons and fricking sold it!"
im gunna fall out with these guys yet!
Ouch how on earth did that happen, was the deal already agreed?
Dunno tbh mate,
i think if my workings are right then
lexus settlement figure is £9,500
lexus value to dealer is £7,500
negative equity is £2,000
My monthly budget is £180 which x 60 months is £10,800,
minus negative equity is £8,800
minus typical apr of 9% is roughly £1,900??
which leaves my grand total budget of £6,900...............apparently to lexus this will get me
06 plate, 5 door, silver, 1.9cdt sri 150ps, 77k miles on the clock...at best!!
Vauxhall Dealer has several 3 door, black, 56 plates with only 55k on the clock for £7k!!!! and they have leather!!!!
giving them a rign now see if they can help
I don't know a lot about this stuff but this doesn't have a huge amount to do with the dealer does it? Can't you arrange directly with Lexus finance and cut the dealer out?
Carpediem need the dealer to find the car though.........i think aha
