toxo Something I found annoying on Mac OS is that if you've got an icon highlighted, pressing enter doesn't do the equivalent of double clicking on it, but renames it instead?!

Yeah, that drove me nuts. Especially being as I probably use the keyboard more than the mouse for most navigation around windows.

Haven't come across that one yet, but yes I can see that one being annoying too!

The more I use this the more respect I have for windows, it might be slower but it's slower for a reason, and overall feels like a more "complete" OS.

It's not as if Mac OS is way off, but makes you realise the attention to detail there is in Windows which just isn't there on Mac OS yet.

With Windows I find that there's probably 100 different ways to do something - and you just pick the way that best suits your style. But with the Mac there's probably less than 10 ways of doing something and 9 of the ways are really obscure.

Tried to use the usb ethernet dongle yesterday and it comes up with a message on screen saying that a USB device is drawing too much power so the USB port has been disabled.

Is something faulty, or am I supposed to do something before plugging it in?
