Oil cooler for PAS?
Surely it has to come from more or less the back of the engine bay to the front, so you could shorten it and relocate it to behind a foglight or something? There must be plenty of places it could go
Also remember that PAS fluid and ATF fluid are very similar, so anything suitable for cooling transmission oil should be OK. MR2 has a metal loop like your one but MUCH shorter on the gearbox, and the GT4 has a small radiator it uses as the fluid gets hotter with the transfer box in place.
You don't actually need much in the way of PAS cooling unless you have a habit of holding your car at opposite lock a lot. Which is why they're quite common amongst drifters!

When i got my intercooler they give you a metal cooling pipe so you can do away with the standard pipe and relocate it to the N/S front of the car

OK mate I'll have to wash the lasagne off it first (just kidding. I dumped it in my trash pile in the garage)
I really dont know what application it could be used for in a car though. The inlet hole size must be 2mm at most. In fact the PAS pipe pretty much eats the whole barb alive.
