Touched up the Cam-Covers - they're ready for the lettering to be done as well:

Sump In Gloss Black Again - I may even stick a metal plate underneath it to keep it from scuffing :g:

The Gearbox is now coming together again too:

So now with everything as I wanted it, I started to rebuild a few nights ago... and while fitting up my £55 set of ARP studs.. I ruined a Thread

So I had to pay another £55 for ONE STUD. But that's what you get for a lapse in concentration.

I have had the others delivered today so I will build her tonight so expect more posts Smile

Now I'm 16 and I have a rare legend of a Japanese Hot Hatch which I love, it's now a part of me, who I am and what I'm about and even though she likes to put my patience to the test... I couldn't be happier.

Thanks for reading,

Well done to you KP so how have you gained so much mechanical knowledge for such a young man...

Your made a few mistake along the way but your soon got back into producing a great car...

Did you have this on Japanese performance mag?

Thanks mate Smile The mistakes are all part of the steep learning curve I guess, and the mechanical knowledge came from the internet and Four Stroke Performance - but primarily from just doing it myself on my own GTi.

I have plans to build a 260BHP Formula Atlantic 4A-GE N/A and to put a 1UZ-FE V8 into another GTi we have on standby Big Grin

Unfortunately no, I have pushed to have it featured in 3 mags, JP and Banzai have ignored me so far and Fast Car is in the process of taking a look at her Smile

Cheers everyone Smile

Dave, thanks I hope so, I'm always happy to join a Club with relaxed and lively members! Big Grin

I will definitely keep everyone up to date seeing as you all seem interested Smile which is a change from some places I post up on :/ If all goes well tonight and I find £150 somewhere I will have her sorted for JAE so expect to see me there with her and my Club.

Later tonight I should have some posts up about the rebuild and how it goes.... lets hope well as if it goes wrong and I need to spend more money that's it until September :O
