One little bolt that is screwing up all my plans!
If the bolt breaks the head off then problem solved?
I would be more than happy to weld it if you had all the equipment .
I actually meant the original bolt head would break.
I still think a good bit of heat would be the answer
Have you tried a nut/bolt splitter mate to crack the top of the bolt? if its cracked you can usually break the top off and pull out the tube? which then gives you access to the top of the thread, and being able to hold the part in a vice, giving you better room to work with to remove the threaded part thats left?
cammy try using a hacksaw and saw down the flat sie of the allen key hole/wobbly to the bottom of the head of the bolt. after removing the slice you should be able to lever the wobbbly out and drill the bolt head.

Had a thought. Go to your local motor factors and buy or borrow a locking wheel nut removing tool.
It is like a socket that fits over the head and has self cutting teeth that cuts into the head of a nut or bolt when you turn it anti clockwise. much the same why as an easi out.
