I think it's a very well done show car, but not personally my 'cup-of-tea'. The fangs are a little OTT but the LEDs on the end of each are actually rather cool. In general I like the car just because of the work that's gone into it, but tbh I'm looking forward to Rose building something that'll contend with it for car of the show and will be all her own work Big Grin

Sparkystav Ps what do you guys think of "the beast"?

personally I cant stand it and taking the engine apart to clean engine parts is just far too ****.

...The car...ok.... the owner...ANNOYING!!!!

He thought you were going to come scratch it or something with the purplewitch entering the competition being so good.

He parked it in the Marquee for 2 nights running, scorned at you if you looked light you MIGHT spill your drink, then had the engine running in the nearly fully closed space ... carbon monoxide poisoning anyone?
So, we said come on, lets hear this fancy sound system... so proceeded to play soft rock (which is ok), but dared not turn the volume knob past 10 lol.... Whats the point?!
It's not that special tbh. It still has the classic peeling dash like all our Zeds and it has the odd cheap mods like 2nd hand old chunky visor screens that arent hooked up yet. I think I would remember what I spent on it... he couldnt.

and custom made "the beast" fleeces? seriously.

but hey ho each to their own.

People were slating the toyota winnner cause apparently it came on a trailer, ive since found out it certainly did not, and thats what i like a car is for driving, you want a trophy then buy a model car.

Yeah he also came with an entourage and a tent that was more like a purpose built apartment and took up most of our camp space for the club.

I've no objection to show only cars, there is definitely a place for them, but I'd like to see some awards like; "Best daily drive of show" and the same sort of category for the show n shine too. It's all well and good that he ploughed tens of thousands into his car, sits it in a heated garage and brings it out 10 times a year (maybe), but what about those of us who have to deal with waxing our cars and then the very next day it's covered in road dirt again, what about those of us who can't do without the car for 4 months while everything on the car is maticulously removed and cleaned?

It does not make sense when people turn up with cars on low loader and never drive there cars were over have to work darn hard to keep there cars looking good.

When we judge our club cars every thing is taken in to account, stone chips wear and tear etc: etc:

I love the car and 1. Can't wait to see it in the flesh and 2. Can't wait to see what you can do to it

Perhaps a suggestion to make to John Fuggles...?

Yeah I've not been in touch with Fuggles since I had a GTR and was in GTROC, but I am still a member there so have been thinking about getting in touch. I'd be happy to help out too, not just make suggestions.
