Welcome to the club matie.

An influx of Zeds we seem to have at the moment, but all are welcome. Though we still need a few more to outnumber the IS200s!

HollowPoint lol there might be more to come yet, Rose and I both got banned for 7 days last night and a whole truck load of posts were deleted from history. The reason? We were telling the truth about how people felt about the club being over-moderated etc. and people had started to post in agreement, which of course "the establishment" couldn't allow Big Grin

Many here can identify with this, and similar, this club was started after many members had problems on other sites, and you won't find any of that cr@p goin on here! As the intro on the home page says:

Quote:This club This club was formed by a group of like-minded Japanese Car fans who had become unhappy with the way some other
car clubs did not seem to listen to the input of their members. At the Outlaw Jap Club we have a different philosophy.
We look at our members as the most important asset of our club. Without them we are nothing. We listen to our
member's input & ideas, along with any problematic issues they might have, and then act on them.
We are all here to help each other.

personally, i wouldn't call anything post 280 a zed, the styling, handling, and most prominent features that difined a true zed are all missing, i'm lookin at a 240 atm, thats a zed, this is a 200zx. ummm, you know how the new mustang isn't really a mustang, the honda del-sol isn't really a crx and the new mini isn't really a mini! well its the same thing. i'm not sayin its not nice, it is, and i love early nissans and would own 'another 300' one day, but I wouldn't really call it a zed! thats like calling a porsche a beetle lol! nice ride thou mate, you gonna go single turbo?

Unfortunately you lost me there logically. I gather the 200zx bit was a typo, but no I don't know what you mean by your statements about the new mustang not really being a mustang and the honda del-sol not being a CRX. As with the 300, they are still made by the same manufacturer, with the same name and the same legacy in mind. I'm not a fan of 350s or 370s myself, but they're still Z's, even if they don't really fit the profile as standard. The new mustang is still rear wheel drive, Ford made and designed with a big V8 lump, it is most definitely a mustang, the del-sol is still a fwd Honda hatch and the 300zx was still a rear wheel drive, 2 door, fast coupe, I don't see your point.

I do get what you mean about the new mini though, but that's different, it's made by a German company, with a brazilian engine, and is bigger than most new Hondas.
