I've been in touch with this company..supply a reconditioned engine ('94 onwards)for £695, or can fit for an extra £350. Are reconditioned engines a good idea? are they really as great at they seem?...and does anyone know of this company? i'd prefer to get luke to fit it, but if they have a good rep i wouldnt mind using them.

Don't know the company myself, maybe Toxo or 2Tongues might have some thoughts on this. I am not a fan of recon engines from companies like this, heard a few horror stories over the years. I would want to know what kind of warranty they give you for a start and then google the company and see if any negative pops up...

Price wise, its slightly above average at £685, but that fitting is ****** cheap
