Depends how much time you spend on the road - I don't any more so winter tyres would be a bit of a waste. Snow socks are perfect just in case you get stuck and need some help getting out.

Exactly that's what they're perfect for - my brothers just got some for his XF (don't even want to know what 20" winter tyres cost!), I'll probably get some for one of the cars just in case (although most likely the Mini will be able to get around on it's own tyres anyway)

I bought a pair of these from Halfords a couple of weeks ago for £50. They look very much the same as the Asda ones..

I intend using my Vitara if we get much snow like I did last year but decided to get some of these to keep in the boot of the Lex just in case I get caught out and I need to get home from work or something

Yeah a few months ago he bought an SV8 - love the sound of the charger whining over the growl of the V8 :tongue_smilie:

I'd definitely recommend it, it's been great so far.

My dad just got a 2008 SV8 last week too. A lot of car for the money!

Confusedad: It was a tough call to make, but the Supercharged IS200 is being retired. Confusedad:
