If ur reading reports of leaks then that's down to a fitter or the glass being mishaped not the trims.

It could be something as simple as the bond being applied to thinly to the body or the glass pushed to close to the body.

The only leaks I ever had to go out and sort was through fitter error

Watch the A pillar these are common to get damaged with screen replacements in the IS200.

There's 2 ways to cut a screen out, using a kent tool a 90deg blade or using cheese/razor wire. If he's good he should remove the A pillars but if ur really good u won't need to as u shouldn't be that close.

Glass costs differ depending how easy it is to make and whether it had diff laminet and or sensors. Factor that with clips, trim and removing/fitting cost its hard to put a price on it.

I've done a screen for a jag XKR and he paid for that and it came to a total of £1000 the clips where £85 a piece

That was an XKR - everything to do with them is expensive lol.

Just give Auto Glas a ring and they will tell you, I would be surprised if its more then £450 to £550 fitted.

It can be that bad but saying that a ford transit screen is about £50 you have to take in to account how many are made the more made the cheaper they become.

I'd steer clear of autoglass.... to date they have quoted me over £500. I got a price list from a lexus dealer worked out at £260 all the bits, but would have to find a fitter. I have found two companies that will fit it for £160 with the trim included, and guaranteed for life. I'll update you guys tomorrow
