Not to sure on the surrounds but the rest is looking good Smile
Have you thought about taking the try off from under the mesh on the bonnet?
Cools that engine a lot more and you see the engine cover too

im not sure about the surrounds either. i am thinking about removing it and painting the mitsi badge blue instead. less in your face than the number plate.

it doesnt look as good without the panel and the car doesnt get hot enough to justify removing it for cooling. i would on a track but not for everyday use. besides, letting heat out would also let rain in and i live in Scotland lol

Iv tried and tested the can you cook on your vr4's engine?
Yes you can! Bacon, thin burgers, eggs and sausages!!
Also found it helps with heat soak issues these car suffer from.

Buuuuuuut your in Scotland. Lol Wink

i got a pleasant surprise the other day. when we fitted the bumper i did a lights check and i had a main beam out so not having a spare of the same brand i put a pair of normal main beam bulbs in. when i bought the ones i wanted and put them in i thought, why not try my LEDs just in case? they only worked on one side of the V6. they both work on the VR4:w00t:

they are straight swap but not the usual cap type. these are 4 LEDs per side with no cap and they are far brighter than a bulb. these things are bright enough to reflect on a car from over a car length away
during the day you get a blue reflection from the ultra power bulbs in both main beam and dipped beam areas which glow in blue when a headlight hits them in the dark. very cool!

its all about your choice of bulbs. admittedly the ultra range are not great in terms of actually lighting up the road and are pretty awful in the rain but they do give a nice effect and are reasonably priced compared to standard boring bulbs in halfords which cost more for 1 bulb than these do for a pair. i also have them in the front fogs but due to the glass they dont give off the same effect. i do get a crisp white light though. my neighbour thought i had HIDs fitted which is what they are designed to look like
