hmmm i think nickin all the badges off the engines is not the kind of behaviour they seek in that part - i get the impression they dont want the cars scavenged for bits and bobs - they more want to sell large chunks of them for cash

no theres just the one i was originally going to have but the car had sat without windows for some time so i was worried the foam might smell damp and electrics might be dodgy-was going to swap the leather onto my seat bases but one rear headrest missing and wasnt sure how good the leather would be when all cleaned up so decided to leave it there-thats from an 04 300 if anyone is interested you aare welcome to go look-they will take £100 for it but the door cards are ruined by butchers

That sounds quite cheap, did the leather look in a bad way? Easy enough to get hold of a headrest......where is this place? Far from London?

i thought it was an amazing price-a few other factors swayed me though as have no garage or space in the shed to store anything(must have a clear out)-also im lookin for a 300 which will have leather and with my luck will find one the day after i bought the interior-plus i am lazy and my cars a 1999 and interior from a 2004 so minor wiring seatbelt issues with seat swap.

The leather itself is in fact really nice and i think would clean up lovely, there is a small tear in the drivers seat base cushion but there are another two front leather seats in similar condition 8 cars over the drivers seat on this one is not ripped so you could i think get four really nice seats out the two cars-its black btw with grey piping.

Its in bridges scrapyard at pease pottage which if you google it is near gatwick so not far for you at all-i would say its worth a drive and a look if you want leather cos you dont find them easy and never at that price-i figured i would need a van to collect it though or at least strip out my back seat and passenger seat to get it in my lex-worth considering.

certainly worth a drive down to see if it would be good for you - also the cars have no power to move the seats so i dont know if you have to put the seats forward to access retaininjg bolts although u could use a battery if it came to it

lexynik ill have to work out some way of gettin paid as i have paypal but never had money paid in it just use it to spend so dont know how it works

It's easy to get money from PayPal, you just give people your PayPal email address and they can then send money to that address. There are two important caveats though :

1 - you need to get people to pay you the money as a "gift" (that's down to their end, not yours). Otherwise PayPal will deduct fees from it and you'll get less than they sent.

2 - you have to pay to withdraw money from PayPal *if* it's below a certain amount (£50 I think ?), but it's free for amounts over that. By "withdraw" that effectively means transferring it to your bank account.

Edit - looking at PayPal it looks like it might be free for anything withdrawn over £6, but that sounds a bit low to me, is that right ?
