^^Has to be dealership anyway else they wont accept it as PX apparently,
apparently what they might do is take it as it is, but lower the trade in value from £7k minus the repair costs, so lets say £5k,
meaning on my new finance agreement il have to spread £2k extra across the 6 year deal,.....which will be a *****
but it would save my insurance premium,
Just been back there in my mates car and he cant figure how i did it either

Doesn't look too bad, so should be repairable I think. Yep better to use a Lexus bodyshop as above, do you still need to get several quotes and stuff? Last time I had to anything, got one estimate from Lexus, assessor came to check that the damage quoted for was actually there (and actually found an extra bit Lexus missed) and then it went straight in to be repaired.
All the costs are standardised now so it should be pretty straightforward.

^^ thats what im thinking,
if it takes the finance premium from £185pm up to £220 im still quids in cus of insurance almost halving, and then getting cheaper as years go on
plus i can ditch the car after 2.5 years as previously planned!!
seriously hoping to take it this way
LExus have rang,
gotta take it to one of their "approved bodyshops" i actually know its a proper little crappy backstreet jobby in nuneaton (atleast it wont cost a bomb)
They will fax lexus a qoute, lexus will add that into my finance, leaving my insurance still squeeky clean
good times
