I don't mean to be rude or cause offence but what makes you guys pick the Almera as a starting point given the choice of so many cars? Rolleyes

imo almera`s are reliable/cheap + mods are cheap aswell,and they look cute aswell

SR20 one of the strongest engine

if done properly you could get 400whp on a standard head and internals

400 would be interesting in a fwd car, or suicidal. My 260 HP saab was a handful and that was designed for the power.

Reason being my old Lex has a square one and that was choking the car, when replaced with a properly shaped one the BHP rose by something like 30 with no other mods.
However mine didn't even have runners or trumpets, so it was never going to be great - bad design always fails.
