karlp It says gt on the advert??
Well i cant see the the big orange brembo brakes on it which come onthe GT pack
I would check with him mate, seems a bit cheap for a GT if thats the case too
These come in the GT pack also so i would check first mate
Cruise control
heated seats
Brembo brakes
Bose head unit

Hi Karl
It does sat GT but as its an import its not one, GT's are only UK cars. I'd say that one is more a Version T as it has no Brembos. JDM are different specs:
Base---17" wheels, ABS,Brake assist,TCS,limited slip diff,xenon headlights
Version T---- leather seats, seven speaker bose
Version S-- 18" rims Brembo's and VDc(instead of TCS ? )but no leather
Version ST--leather +Version S spec
rear spoilers/sat nav and side airbags ordered as extras on all specs + loads of others. Extras not seen on UK cars like auto fold mirrors ,different steering wheels, footwell illumination.
They are all built in the same factory - some of the main differences are UK models have/is:
= larger fuel tank
= different ECU (10 BHp less allegedly )
= rear spoiler
= xenon headlights
= headlamp washers
= bigger radiator
= uprated interior
= uprated suspension (same from Nov 2004 onwards I believe)
= different exhaust
= phone integration
= speed limit of 155mph and not 112mph
= manual (6 speed gearbox)
= Thatcham cat 1 alarm
= different horn
= 18" wheels
= (generally) cheaper insurance but shop around
= more expensive (for same mileage and age)
= enhanced cooling for LSD
= GT pack option (leather seats, heated seats, cruise control, BOSE)
= Brembos as standard
= different (larger) air intake
= oil cooler
JDM car has:
= tiptronic gearbox
= max speeds 112mph (HKS speed defender needed) about £120
= auto roll-up window
= 17" wheels
= ridiculously bright high-beam light in car; £10 to fix
= no fog light (will be fixed as part of SVA)
= Sat Nav which doesn't work and no cheap fix
= radio needing a frequency shifter - cheap to fix
= option of white paint
= square number plate
= wing mirrors fold-in when locking car
= wing mirrors dip down when selecting reverse
= optional xenons (but no headlamp washer)
= optional brembos
= Key Fob unlocks the boot
= Different Badge on the boot.
As he doesn't seem to know what model he has I probably wouldn't go near it, but then a lot of garages selling them don't know the differences either which is why I did my homework. Its also had a new rear bumper but as he's changed both number plates to UK style, I assume this was purely cosmetic.

Have a look at the link with Zeds for sale, there are a few on there for different prices, specs and UK/JDM cars, if you find one on there you like search the username of the owner and see if they've put any 'suspect' threads up (i.e. whoops I crashed etc).

30-03-2018, 04:46 AM #26I think you could get a better one for slightly more money, I personally wouldn't consider it but I wanted all the extras and a UK car so held out. Bizarrely I can't see that he actually put whether it was manual or not but I think that year (not sure if all JDM's are) they were tiptronic and not manual.
